Vegetable samber recipe


Vegetable samber recipe:




Ingredients (1 cup)

·         ½ cup arhar dal
·         ½  cup Pea
·         ¼ tsp turmeric powder / haldi
·         1 cup radish  chopped
·         1 cup knol knol chopped
·         1 cup beans chopped
·         ½ cup carrot chopped
·         ½ cup onion chopped
·         2 tomato chopped
·         2 tbsp Chilli powder
·         Samber powder
·         Dhanya powder
·         Salt to taste
·         Curry leaves
·         2 tbsp oil
·         1 cup tamarind juice
·         2 dried red chilli

Instructions

·   Firstly in a pressure cooker take half cup washed toor dal Also add turmeric powder. then add vegetables radish, carrot, beans, knol knol, pea or vegetables  add 2 cups of water or water as required to cook.  After closed the pressure cooker  3  whistles on medium flame.
·    Next in a large kadai 2 tbsp oil heat after curry leaves , onion chopped , 2 dried red chilli, tomato, turmeric powder, also add additional tamarind water to boil all mix well and boil for 5 minutes.         
·   Then add cooked dal all vegetables and get to boil again. Do not over cook as vegetables are already cooked.
·   After get the samber to boil. Add sambar powder, Dhanya powder, chilli powder, after also add salt to taste mix well boil few minutes. Finely vegetable samber ready to it.
